CHILD CARE inspections
The Environmental Health team at the Johnson County Health Department is committed to protecting the health and safety of our county's children by ensuring that all licensed childcare facilities meet stringent standards. In cooperation with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Office of Childhood, staff conducts health and safety inspections of childcare centers and childcare homes. Staff also evaluates private water supplies and onsite wastewater treatment systems in childcare facilities, when applicable.
