The purpose of this clinic is to screen for vision problems, malfunctions and malformations of the eyes. Examinations will be conducted by resident ophthalmologists from Mason Eye Institure, University of Missouri at Columbia. Those who require further treatment or examination will be referred to a local eye care specialist. Persons who meet Prevention of Blindness eligibility may receive assistance to help apply for the cost of any recommended services.
Note: The Doctors are NOT
able to write
prescriptions for glasses.

Johnson County Community Health Services is now offering the Annual Shirley Burgin Scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be a resident of Johnson County Missouri, show financial need, be in school or planning to start next semester, and show intent in the pursuit of a health service career.
